YOU CAN SIMPLY INSTALL THE DEMO CONTENTS AND MAKE THE SITE LOOK AS IN THE DEMO
a) To install the demo contents go to Dashboard->Tools->Import.
b) Then select ‘Wordpress’ and Install ‘Wordpress Importer.’
c) Upload the demo xml file from the ‘Demo Data’ folder using the form provided on that page.
d) You will first be asked to map the authors in this export file to users on the blog. For each author, you may choose to map to an existing user on the blog or to create a new user
e) WordPress will then import each of the posts, comments, and categories contained in this file into your blog
To create a new page go to Dashboard->Pages->Add New

Create the following pages by choosing the respective templates:
1. Contact Us
2. Booking
3. Blog
4. Album/Gallery
Once the pages are created go to our theme options panel via Dashboard->Appearances->’Yatra’ Travel Wordpress Theme. The website can be set up and styled by using the following. Make sure you ‘save’ the modifications after completing each sections.
a. General Layout: Choose whether you want ‘full width’ or ‘boxed layout’. You can check the layouts again in our demo http://www.themes.layero.com/yatrawp.
b. Custom Logo: Upload the logo of your company here.
c. Custom favicon: Upload your company favicon. The best size is 16x16 px in png/gif format.
d. Color Selection: Select the color theme you want for the site
e. Select the background image you would like to have as the background of the site’s #main area.
Note: This is not the option to change the background of the ‘body’ but of the text area which is ‘White’ by default.
f. Currency: Enter the currency symbol you want to display in prices
g. Search results banner image: You can choose to add a banner image for the search results page.
Eg: http://www.themes.layero.com/yatrawp/?tour_package_locations=any&tour_package_types=any&price=1300-5300&pack-listings=true . The best size for a banner image(top most image) is 1280x300 px. You may leave this field blank if you don’t want a banner.
h. Single gallery post banner image: This is the banner image to be displayed in all gallery/album pages. The best size for a banner image(top most image) is 1280x300 px. You may leave this field blank if you don’t want a banner.
i. Search Results Page Layout: You may choose the layout for the search results pages for tour packages.
j. Booking page url: This is where creating ‘pages’ in advance comes in handy. Paste here the url of your booking page. When a visitor clicks the ‘Book Now’ button in a tour page he will be taken to this page. Unless this url is given here correctly tour bookings won’t work.
Click the ‘Save All Changes’ button and save the changes.
a. Home page Layout: Choose the layout you want for the home page.
b. About Title: The title for the ‘about’ section displayed on your home page
c. About: Add the contents here to be displayed on your ‘about’ section
d. View All Packages Link: Enter here the link for ‘View All Packages’ links in home page. ‘View All Packages’ page is basically the search result page which displays all packages listed. To do this simply click on the search button keeping both field values ‘Any’. Copy the url of that results page and paste it here.
Click the ‘Save All Changes’ button and save the changes.
This is where you setup the slider for home page (top most moving banner images).
a. Animations: Choose whether you want the slider to slide or fade
b. Animation Speed: Enter the speed of animations in milliseconds (eg:2000)
c. Control Navigation: choose whether to display control navigations or not
d. Slides: This is where you can add slides.
Note: On home page layout 1 only the text in the ‘Title’ will be displayed. For the other two home page layouts texts for ‘Title’ and ‘Description’ will be displayed.
a. Menu Alignment-Choose the menu alignment you want
b. Header Background Color: Choose the background color for the header (The white space accommodating logo and menus)
c. Menu Text Color: Choose the color for the texts in the menu
d. Menu hover text color: Choose the color for a menu text when the cursor is placed on it.
e. Menu Font Size: Choose the font size for menu.
a. H2 font size: Set the font size for H2 titles
b. H3 font size: Set the font size for H3 titles
c. H4 font size: Set the font size for H4 titles
d. Body Text Size: Select the font size for general text.
e. Choose content text color: Select the text color for body text
f. Choose font family: Select the font family for all texts.
a. Single Package Layout: Select the layout for tour package pages
b. Display testimonial at bottom: Choose whether to display a testimonial section at the bottom just above footer section.
c. Default Tour Package Banner: Upload a banner image as the default banner in tour package pages. You also have the option to upload them in tour package pages which will over ride the banner uploaded here.
d. Display Contact Details: Display custom Contact details on the right side of the package page.
e. Title for contact details: Enter the title to be displayed for the above contact section
f. Sidebar Contact Name: Enter the name of the person whom to contact regarding the tour package
g. Sidebar Contact Mail: Enter the mail of the person whom to contact regarding the tour package
h. Sidebar Contact Phone Number: Enter the number of the person whom to contact regarding the tour package
i. Sidebar contact Description: Enter a small description below the custom contact details.
a. Email Address(Booking Page, Ask Question -Tour Package): Enter the email address to which the mails from booking page and ‘ask a question’ pop up form are to be sent.
b. Subject of Tour Package Booking Mail: Enter the email Subject line for Tour Package Booking Mail.
c. Subject of Ask a Question Mail: Enter the email Subject line for Ask a Question Mail
d. Email Address(Contact form): email to which inquiries from 'contact us' page are sent.
e. Subject Email Address(Contact form): Enter the email Subject line for the mail to be send from the contact us page
f. Email Address(Footer Contact Us Widget): email to be displayed in 'contact us' footer widget area
g. Address (Footer Contact Us Widget): The address of your location to be used in the Contact Details column, if you'd like to display it
h. Phone Numbers (Footer Contact Us Widget): Phone number in contact us footer widget area
i. Facebook page URL: Enter Facebook page URL .
j. Twitter profile URL: Enter Twitter profile URL
k. Google+ profile URL: Enter your Google+ profile URL
l. Youtube page URL: Enter your Youtube page URL
a. Blog Layout: Select the layout for blog.
b. Default blog single post page banner: Upload a default banner image and it will be shown for blog posts
c. Allow Comments: Choose yes to allow comments option in Blog Posts.
d. Number of posts: Number of posts to be shown in blog page.
e. Show full post/excerpt: Choose to show full post/excerpt on blog page
f. Excerpt Length: Choose the length of post excerpts
a. Google analytics code: Enter your Google analytics code
b. Custom CSS: Add custom CSS to modify the existing styles.
a. Footer Logo: Upload the logo to be displayed on the footer.
b. Copyright Text: Paste your custom copyright text here
Step 1 – To add widgets, Navigate to Dashboard-> Appearance -> Widgets
Step 2 – You will see 5 widget sections on the right hand side. Your widgets are located on the left hand side.
Step 3 – Simply drag and drop the widgets you want from the left side into the sliding bar widget sections on the right side.
(To make the site look exactly as in the demo drop the widgets as shown in the image below.)
Note: You can add images to text widgets via html code. Ref the pic below which displays a discount offer image in the footer.
Step1: Go to Dashboard->Tour Packages. This page will display all the tour packages you have listed.
Step2: Click on the ‘Add New Tour Package’.
Step 3: Fill out the necessary details in that page. (Ref pic below)
Step4: once you are finished click ‘Publish’ to save.
Note 1: ‘Related Packages’ displayed on the sidebar of the tour package page works based on the ‘Tags’. If 2 listings have the same tags, for eg: ‘beach’, then the latter package will be displayed on the sidebar of the former.
Note 2: The image displayed in the search results and home pages for a tour package is set by assigning the image as ‘Featured’. To do this click on ‘Set Featured Image’ link on the bottom RHS. Upload a new image or set an existing image. Then click on the ‘Set Featured Image’ button there and save the listing.
Note 3: The ‘Package Days’ section at the bottom can be used to detail the schedule of the package.
Note 4: Tick ’Featured Package’ to display the package in the ‘Popular packages’ area in home page and sidebar.

Step 1: Create a page called ‘Gallery/Album ’ or any name you desire.
Step 2: Select a gallery page template whether 2 column, 3 column or 4 column.
Step 3: Go to Dashboard->Gallery. All the gallery/albums you added will be displayed there.
Step 4: Click on ‘Add New Gallery’
Step 5: Click on the ‘Add Media’ button.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Create New Gallery’ link on the popup.
Step 7: Upload new images or select the images from the library.
Step 8: Click on ‘Create a new gallery’ button.
Step 9: On the next window select the number of rows you need. Then click on the ‘Insert Gallery’ button.
Step 10: Set an image as the ‘featured image’ to be displayed on the main gallery/album page.
Step 11: Click ‘Publish’ to save.
Step 1: Go to Dashboard->Testimonials
Step 2: Click on ‘Add New Testimonial’ link
Step 3: In the title field add any text or may be the person’s name, it won’t be displayed anywhere on the site.
Step 4: Enter the testimonial content in the contents section.
Step 5: Add the image of the client/person giving the testimonial as ‘Featured Image’
Step 6: Add the name of the person in the field ‘testimonial By’
Step 7: Click ‘Publish’ to save.
